There as a news story on numerology last night....I guess the date 1/1/11 was their inspiration, I digress.
This got me to thinking, I wonder what MY numerology life path would look like..? I couldn't resist taking a look at a numerology website, even though I really don't believe in astrology or numerology. What harm could it do to take a peak at what the numbers said about me and my life.
Here's what it said:

You must not be overly careful this year. 2011 is a year in which a major step forward can take place if she is willing to take some calculated risks and do a little gambling. What's my honest to god reaction...? I like it. It's not perfect (because, lets be honest, life RARELY is...)...but it seems fairly spot-on. I'm starting school, I currently AM open to change, and I'm ready to conquer the world. Boom boom pow.

I'm not going to get uber religious on you or anything but I believe that Somebody else is in charge of the shots and things are going to happen whether we want them to or not. I've never been into signs, fortune telling, or the like.
Why? Living life where the fun is. If I knew that I was going to die next Thursday would I really have any fun for the next few days? Probably not, I'd be busting my butt on how to NOT die next Thursday.
ChopperPapa - I guess I should've been more clear...I don't necessarily "believe" in astrology, numerology, psychics, etc....I just found my "so-called numerologic life path" for 2011 to be interesting. Honestly, I'd LOVE it if it were THAT easy...if my life played out almost exactly as the numbers say it will...but that's not realistic.
While I don't believe in "God" (I'm a recovering catholic) I, too, believe in something greater. I believe in Humanity. I also strongly feel you choose your own path in life, and you make the choice which path you will follow every day (and it starts with the way you decide you are going to feel/react about situations thrown your direction).
Maybe I'm blathering on and on....but that's where I'm coming from. Thanks for your insight. I love hearing other people's perspectives on life, and even on religion (although, that topic never fails to get heated...lol)
