He was a nice guy but I knew instantly he wasn't long term dating material (and really not my type at all). But there was enough physical chemistry that after a party at our mutual friends house we, well, benefits. It went on for a couple months (we didn't see each other often...he lives up in MD) but it was a good way to get back into my groove. And break the dry spell.
